Further Information

‘Sam Hardy of Derby’ is a 57′ Traditional Stern Narrowboat built in 2000 by Mike Haywood and fitted by D&K Lines, with a traditional layout and a homely interior ambience.

From the stern, enter under pram cover through a utility room with washing machine to the side and engine under deck boards.  Forward is the bedroom which has a cross double bed and ample storage. Forward there is an off-corridor shower room with Thetford cassette toilet, shower, and vanity basin. Forward is the kitchen/galley, which has woodblock counter tops and is fully-equipped for use as a permanent live-aboard, with gas oven and hob, Russell Hobbs Microwave, and fridge/freezer.  Forward is the saloon with a dinette, which converts to a second double bed.  The saloon features a Boatman solid fuel stove with a back boiler, which powers the central heating. The saloon also contains two armchair beds and a TV. There is ample storage throughout, with additional storage and seating in the cratch undercover area.  The Boat was last surveyed and blacked in Jan 2019 and there is a current Boat Safety Certificate until Aug 2020.

‘Sam Hardy of Derby’ is available for viewing at Wincham Wharf. Please call for a viewing or to book a test cruise.
