Further Information
Elizabeth Nelson is an all steel, 63′ cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1996 by George Leigh. Propulsion is provided by a Perkins 3152 Diesel inboard engine. She benefits from a large cruiser stern which provides a good, sociable outside deck. Entering in to the cabin from the stern takes you into a small area which, as well as housing some of the boats systems, could provide a useful space for shoes or coats etc. This then takes you through into the bedroom. 2 berths are provided by the fixed double bed under which can be found a generous amount of storage space. At the foot of the bed further wardrobe / drawer storage is provided. Moving forward takes you to the off-corridor style bathroom. This is equipped with a pump out toilet, hand basin, storage cupboards, shower and hip bath. Next is the galley, this large space is fitted with freezer, fridge, microwave, gas oven, grill & hob, sink/drainer, and ample storage / worktop space. This then opens up into the saloon area which is fitted with a Torso Squirrel solid fuel stove, freestanding units and a freestanding bed/settee. Bow doors then lead out on to the front well deck.
Elizabeth Nelson is a ready to cruise boat which does have potential for improvement and is ready for a new owner to make her their own. She is on site at Wincham Wharf, please call or email for more information or to arrange a viewing.
