Savannah Skye is a 65′ x 12′ widebeam canal barge built in 2018 by the renowned Delta Marine. Propulsion is provided by a Beta Marine 90hp Diesel inboard engine. At the very stern of the vessel is a unique drop down steel deck area which can be used, among other things, as a safe barbeque area. At the helm you will find a custom built, solid mahogany, double glazed wheelhouse which can be removed to deck height to navigate lower bridges. This spacious area also incorporates upholstered seating including storage within and further storage lockers suitable for cruising equipment such as windlasses etc. At the help you will find bow thruster controls. windlass controls and forward facing cameras to ease navigation. Stepping into the cabin from the stern we find an office / bedroom fitted with desk, storage cupboards and a drop down bed. Moving forward takes us to the galley area. This provides a generous amount of storage / worktop space as well as a large American style fridge/freezer, gas oven/grill, 4 burner hob and an enameled inset sink/drainer. This then leads through to the saloon area giving plenty of space for freestanding furniture and currently housing a large ‘L’ shaped sofa, Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove, flat screen TV and cupboard unit. The modern bathroom incorporates an electric macerator pump out toilet, large shower cubicle, surface mount hand basin, storage cupboards and a heated towel rail. In here you will also find the washing machine and tumble dryer. At the front of the cabin is the master bedroom with King size bed and ample cupboard / drawer space. Doors then lead out onto the front deck with upholstered seating and storage underneath. This area also benefits from a cratch cover.
