Further Information
Bud is an all steel, 24′ Midway 235 cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1996 by Mick Sivewright. Unlike many other Midway 235’s she benefits from a Vetus M2.04 Diesel inboard engine for propulsion. This also provides hot water by means of a calorifier. She has a survey from 2024 which can be seen and had her baseplate overplated in 2014 with 6mm steel.
Entering the vessel from the stern takes you into a seating area with bench seat / single berth to port with a solid fuel stove and fold down table / storage to starboard. Under the bench seat is a pull out 12v fridge. Forward of this is the galley area with stainless sink/drainer, gas oven, hob & grill and an impressive amount of storage space for a boat this size. Opposite the galley area is the bathroom with porta potti (a new Port Potti will be supplied upon sale) and shower. At the front of the cabin are two bench seats which convert to a double bed and a wall mounted TV. Bud also features a 240v landline connection and a BSC to August 2026.
This vessel is due at Wincham Wharf soon. Please call or email for more information or to arrange a viewing.
