Bud is an all steel, 24′ Midway 235 cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1996 by Mick Sivewright.  Unlike many other Midway 235’s she benefits from a Vetus M2.04 Diesel inboard engine for propulsion.  This also provides hot water by means of a calorifier.  She has a survey from 2018 which can be seen and had her baseplate overplated in 2014 with 6mm steel.

Entering the vessel from the stern takes you into a seating area with bench seat / single berth to port with another seat and solid fuel stove to starboard.  Under the bench seat is a pull out 12v fridge.  Forward of this is the galley area with stainless sink/drainer, gas oven, hob & grill and an impressive amount of storage space for a boat this size.  opposite the galley area is the bathroom with porta potti and vanity basin. The tap head of the vanity basin pulls out to double as a shower head.  At the front of the cabin are two bench seats which convert to a double bed and a wall mounted TV.  Bud also features a 240v landline connection and a BSC to August 2026.
