Further Information
As well as being a great Monty Python movie, Holy Grail is also a 48′ all steel cruiser stern narrowboat built by Simolda in 1984. Propulsion is provided by a Lister air cooled Diesel engine. The spacious cruiser stern provides a social outside space and benefits from bench seating and a pram cover. As you enter the cabin from the stern into a starboard corridor, immediately to port is the bathroom featuring bath, shower, handbasin, storage and room for a Porta Potti. It is worth noting there is also a pump out tank which has been capped off but could be re-instated if required. Moving forward takes you into the bedroom with fixed double bed which also provides bags of storage space underneath. Next is the galley area, again providing ample worktop and storage space. The galley features gorgeous oak worktops, inset sink, fridge and a freestanding oven/grill with 4 burner hob. At the front of the cabin is the saloon which offers plenty of room for freestanding furniture as well as 2 built in bench seats forward. The saloon also houses a solid fuel stove and TV. Doors lead out onto the bow deck which also benefits from a cratch cover.
Holy Grail is a very cosy, homely vessel. Other features include Diesel central heating, solar panels, new batteries and a Victron inverter/charger. She is currently off site on a private mooring. Please call for more information or to arrange a viewing.
