Russet Windermere is a comfortable and well maintained 65′ cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1999 by Steelcraft and fitted out by Clifton Cruisers. Throughout the years though her owners have updated the interior and made her into the homely boat she is today. Propulsion is provided by a BMC 1.8 Diesel engine coupled to a PRM260 gearbox. The gearbox was fitted new in 2020 and has done few hours since.
She has a reverse style layout, entering from the stern takes you into the galley with a central walkway. The galley is equipped with stainless sink/drainer, washing machine, dryer, freezer, fridge, freestanding gas oven, grill & hob and ample worktop / storage space. This then leads through to a raised dinette which also converts to a double berth. Moving forward is the saloon with freestanding 2 seater sofa and solid fuel stove. Next is the bathroom which is the walk-through type. This is fitted with storage drawers, a large quadrant shower cubicle, handbasin and swivel cassette toilet with porcelain bowl. At the front of the cabin is the bedroom with floor to ceiling hanging space, storage drawers and a cross double bed. Steel doors then lead out onto the front well deck with scratch and cover. Other features include gas central heating, solar panels, landline connection and a large water tank. Blacking is in 2 pack and she has a BSC to August 2026.
